Are you an experienced preschool teacher who wants to combine teaching in a group of children with a developmental role at the operational level? At Lillängen Preschool, we are now looking for a Lead Preschool Teacher who wants to strengthen the quality of education, with a special focus on language development and systematic quality work.

Your Responsibilities

You combine work in a group of children with an extended responsibility for pedagogical development work. Approximately 80 percent of your time is spent working in the group of children, while the remaining 20 percent is dedicated to a strategic assignment focused on organization, collegial learning, and the quality of teaching.

Lillängen Preschool is part of an initiative focusing on language-developing approaches. Together with colleagues and language developers, you work on developing teaching through a structured approach based on action research.

The assignment includes leading and developing systematic quality work and driving collegial learning. You lead reflections, ask challenging questions, and contribute to structure in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching. You serve as a support both in your own work team and for other colleagues at the preschool, contributing to continuity and direction in the development work. You are also part of a pedagogical development group and collaborate with other preschools in the area.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with at least four years of experience as a preschool teacher. You have a strong commitment to education and development and thrive in a role where you lead others through dialogue, reflection, and clarity. Through your working methods, you model good teaching, interaction, and a professional attitude.

You are secure in your profession and have the ability to both support and challenge your colleagues. You work in a structured manner and can maintain focus and resilience even when conditions change or when daily life is complex. You have a good understanding of systematic quality work and preferably experience in leading colleagues in pedagogical work.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked with language development or if you have advanced education in pedagogical leadership, supervision, or similar.

Additional Information

As the advertisement takes place during the summer holiday period, our availability is limited during parts of the advertising period. The responsible recruiter is available to answer questions during week 29 and week 32.

The position is a permanent employment as a preschool teacher. The assignment as Lead Preschool Teacher is time-limited to two years and provides a salary supplement of 5,000 SEK per month.

Before you can be employed, you need to show a clean extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
